A substantial collection of vintage fishing reels and vintage fishing equipment will be of interest at Unique Auctions Antiques & Collectors auction on the 27th and 28th February. The collection includes some several hundred fishing reels including Hardy and Allcocks. Other reels include Grice & Young, Lewtham, Dowling & Sons, J W Young, Mitchell, Shakespeare etc. The Hardy fishing reels include Hardy Marquis Salmon No 2, Hardy Marquis Disc 8 and Hardy 3 5/8″ Gem and Allcocks include Allcock Ariel, Allcock Ariel Popular 1912, and Allcocks Flick-em.
The auction takes place on 27th and 28th of February starting at 9am each day. Viewing is on Thursday 25th February from 10am-4pm, Friday 26th February 9am-6pm and the morning of the auction from 7am.
