Royal Worcester Fruit Studies Make for Rich Pickings with Record Prices at Auction

Hand painted Royal Worcester pieces continue to buck the downward market trends of most pottery and china at auction, with record prices being achieved at Unique Auction in recent months. This is especially true of larger pieces by certain Royal Worcester artists.

These include: a handled basket by Shinnie selling for £4,200 and another Shinnie piece, a large Pot Pourri vase selling for £1,300; a footed fruit bowl painted by Price selling for £1,050; and a Royal Worcester hand painted coffee pot signed E Townsend which sold for £800.
