Over 600 Bidders attended the Onsite Auction, Battleford Hall, Fleet, Lincolnshire
With over 600 attending, record sales were achieved at Unique Auctions specialist sale of the contents of
Battleford Hall, Fleet, Lincolnshire. The onsite auction held on Saturday 8th September was an international
success, and attended by record numbers of new and regulars’ visitors, plus many online bidders. Bids were
received from as far away as Russia, China, USA and Belgium, with many international visitors attending in
person.
Bidding battles reached fever pitch with bids reaching £1,000.00 for a large four poster bed; £5,000.00 for a
decorative mirror backed sideboard and £650.00 for an ornate gilt hall table. Garden statues and ornamental
features were ever popular with a statue of Pan achieving a hammer price of £470.00, a five piece Victorian tea
service for £5,000, and a sumptuous marquee selling for £1,700.
